On booking you for the wedding you came and explained what you normally do showed us samples etc, I gave you a list of photos we would like taken like of siblings and family shots etc and you did everything we asked. You’re so down to earth and that made me relax immediately and I knew then I had to book you.

I needed some new business head shots for website and business cards as my current ones were about 5 years out of date. I don’t like having photos taken as I feel very self conscious and very rarely like the results. I booked a one hour session with Emma in a studio and took her advice of wearing a little more makeup than I might normally and to wear plain colours. She told me exactly how to ‘pose’ for the camera, but it didn’t feel unnatural at all. I actually really enjoyed the session and we had lots of laughs along the way. Emma has a way of really putting you at ease whilst remaining totally professional.
The hour went by very quickly and I had a little glimpse of some of the pictures before I left. We subsequently met up for a coffee and she showed me the photos she felt were the best ones. I am absolutely blown away by them. She has made me look great and I am really happy with all the shots.

Emma is amazing at keeping in touch in the run up to the wedding she was the first person we received a Christmas card from and even sent us a gift before the wedding, we would never have expected this but very grateful.
On the day Emma was efficient and made sure she got all the photos we asked her but also wasn't intrusive and in our faces which we really liked, she came to our house last week with the final photos and I couldn't keep the tears in looking back in our wonderful day

We felt like we could depend on her to capture the spirit of our wedding.

We first met Emma at a wedding fayre - it was our first wedding fayre and we were finding it a bit overwhelming. We saw Emma's stand and got talking to her (and her lovely husband) and she put us at ease, telling us how she was not long married and knew how we felt. We looked into other photographers but we always kept coming back to EBM Photography. We liked her pictures the best but also knew that we would get on well with her on the day, be able to have a laugh and relax.
Nothing was a problem for her and she was happy to work with us to achieve the photos we wanted. She also sent us a gift which was really thoughtful.
On the day, many of our guests commented on how nice Emma was and we managed to take all the photos we wanted even though the rain was on and off throughout the day. The photos have turned out amazingly well and we couldn't be happier with the album and our wall art.

We first met Emma at wedding fair and we warmed to her straight away. Her friendly and professional nature made her very approachable and someone we knew we could work with. Most important to us was hiring someone who would work well with our young daughter and would see her as an asset to a shoot rather than a hindrance.
We were lucky enough to win a free engagement shoot with Emma which gave us the opportunity to really assess if we she was the photographer for us and we certainly weren’t disappointed. We discussed having a family portrait photo shoot with Emma as she took our amazing wedding photographs and we really loved having her as a part of our wedding day. She suggested some venues and we decided to go to Birnie loch, Fife.
The weather wasn’t fantastic but we got Eilidh in her wellies and her raincoat regardless. Emma brightened the day with her enthusiasm and we all had lots of fun exploring Birnie Loch. Emma made sure we were all relaxed and she was very patient with Eilidh. It was a difficult decision choosing our prints as they were all of very high quality and looked fantastic.
I would highly recommend Emma as she is patient with children (and grown ups!), relaxed, approachable, extremly talented and very enthusiastic in her work.

It was wonderful having Emma as our wedding photographer. It was like having a friend take our photos at the wedding. She was very professional, but at the same time very relaxing. And we are so happy with the wedding photographs, it’s like reliving the day again. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
Also it was lovely, all Emma’s little touches. Prior to the wedding she was in contact at the time, sent Christmas cards, and little gifts and things like that, so it was a really lovely service.
